YASH DHULL: A NEW STAR ON THE RISE

Yash Dhull, the recently concluded u-19 world cup winning captain, opened up his domestic career account by scoring a fantastic ton on his Ranji Trophy debut. The young Delhi boy found himself in a crumbling situation as Delhi lost early wickets on the first day. However, he fought that tough phase and finally, he scored his first hundred in 133 balls.

He developed a 119 run partnership with Jonty Sindhu for the 4th wicket as his first Ranji innings ended with a score of 113 off 150 balls. Former England Captain Michael Vaughan has also praised as he believes that this boy is a star in making.

This kind of arrival was not an absolute shock for every one as he has shown his class and capabilities in the recently concluded u-19 world cup. He scored 229 runs in just 4 innings at an average of 76.33. His Ranji debut ton has enlisted him with legends like Sachin Tendulkar, Amol Mujumdar, Rohit Sharma. A prestigious list indeed! During the u-19 world cup, his captaincy capabilities have been praised and his style of pacing the innings has been compared to the “King Kohli”. IPL Franchise Delhi Capitals has recognised his skills and thus, they have taken him at INR 50 Lakh. In a recent interview, he claimed that his main aim is to play for senior India Team as early as possible, especially in the Red-ball format. Another young Delhi prospect is on the rise again for creating more golden memories within the upcoming Indian Cricket history.
