Yash Dhull, the recently concluded u-19 world cup winning captain, opened up his domestic career account by scoring a fantastic ton on his Ranji Trophy debut. The young Delhi boy found himself in a crumbling situation as Delhi lost early wickets on the first day. However, he fought that tough phase and finally, he scored his first hundred in 133 balls.

He developed a 119 run partnership with Jonty Sindhu for the 4th wicket as his first Ranji innings ended with a score of 113 off 150 balls. Former England Captain Michael Vaughan has also praised as he believes that this boy is a star in making.

He scored 229 runs in just 4 innings at an average of 76.33. His Ranji debut ton has enlisted him with legends like Sachin Tendulkar, Amol Mujumdar, Rohit Sharma. A prestigious list indeed! During the u-19 world cup, his captaincy capabilities have been praised and his style of pacing the innings has been compared to the “King Kohli”.
