ANOTHER STAR IS FALLEN: AUSTRALIAN LEGEND ANDREW SYMONDS LEFT US ALL SHOCKED

After the demise of Shane Warne, another Australian Great Andrew Symonds passed away following a car accident in Queensland. Cricket Australian has confirmed that the accident occurred in Hervey Range, 50 km from Townsville on Saturday night. Australian police have confessed that Symonds was involved in a single-vehicle accident as he was driving left the road and rolled.

Andrew Symonds always lived a larger than life image during his flamboyant career and controversies have been there for him to make headlines. He was part of two world cup winning squads while he managed to represent Australia in 26 Tests and 198 One-day internationals from 1998 to 2009. He had some stellar moments with the ball also along with his fantastic fielding skills. Though, at the end of his career, he had some issues with the Australian due to his behavioural breaches. He had a famous “Monkey Gate” saga with India during the test series of 2008.Who can forget that! In an official statement, Australian Chairman Lachlan Henderson said that Australian Cricket has lost another generational talent in the form of Andrew. He was an instrumental part of two major world cup winning campaigns and his cult personality was always treasured by his teammates and fans. His demise is a tragic blow after the recent deaths of fellow greats Shane Warne and Rod Marsh.

Police have also confessed that emergency services were attempted to revive him but fatal injuries led him to death. Teammates like Jason Gillespie and Mark Taylor have showered their support to his family members and loved ones during this tough phase.
