IND VS WI, WOMEN’S CWC 2022: A BIG WIN FOR THE BLUES, THANKS TO MANDHANA AND HARMANPREET

After a crushing defeat against the Kiwis in their 2nd Match, this WI Match was crucial for the Blue Tigresses to stay in the race for this year's World Cup. And, Guess What! The Women in Blue responded perfectly as they defeated the West Indies Women by a huge margin of 155 Runs. This big win will help to boost their run rate also. The Indian Captain Mithali Raj won the important toss and opted for Batting. Opener Smriti Mandhana (123 Runs off 119 Balls) and the former captain, Harmanpreet Kaur (109 Runs off 107 Balls) scored two superb Tons as India posted a huge total of 317 Runs by losing 8 Wickets.

West Indies started their Innings with some firecrackers. However, they failed to continue their momentum as they got bundled out for 162 Runs in 40.3 Overs. Sneh Rana picked up 3 Wickets by conceding only 22 Runs in her 9.3 Overs. The Indian Camp will be more relieved after seeing Harmanpreet Today as she is back in big Runs after a long, long time. The whole of India will pray that her form keeps going through the rest of the Tournament.
